Re: Using X with VESA on Skylake

I tried a suggestion from Gregor Best on a different thread

I reinstalled 6.1, but booting via UEFI this time. Using the wsfb driver
like it says in that thread worked for me.

I am not sure if I could have got my original "bios" install booting
without a reinstall. Or why vesa did not work.

But I got a solution for X now.
