Check if fsck will be run on a partition

Hello,
I have a script that mounts a partition and it works well except when the partition needs to be fsck checked.How can I know if the partition needs to be checked by fsck, I'd like to test that.If the partition needs to be checked by fsck, I run fsck firstElse I mount the partition
