Control workplace transport safety and save lives

Every year, there are accidents involving transport in the workplace, some of which result in people being killed.

Our website has a vehicle and transport safety at work section with advice on how to help prevent accidents, assess and manage vehicle and driver safety - wherever you work.

Agriculture is Britain's riskiest industry sector

33 people were killed as a result of farming and other agriculture-related activities across Britain in 2017/18.

 

Being injured by an animal caused the most deaths in Britain's riskiest industry sector, with the highest rate of fatal injury.


Nearly half of the fatalities involved workers aged over 65. Our site includes advice on health and safety for older workers.
