I'm on OpenBSD 6.6-beta (GENERIC.MP) #315: Wed Sep 18 19:01:31 MDT 2019,
and I'm not able to reproduce any of your issues. The OpenJK binaries

I will try to upgrade my snapshot later and see if the issue then
appears. But until then, can you share more with me about your setup and
how you've set up the game files?
By the way, the ui.so issue can be ignored--ui.so doesn't come with
OpenJK, it's part of the game files (from GOG, etc.) and isn't needed.
