I have done that, and the behavior has not changed.
Another thing I noted changing the BIOS settings referred to is that
there is a Boot Display to be chosen. I'm a bit apprehensive about
changing this to one of the Dock Digital display choices, but I may
have to try that. It's currently set to ThinkPad LCD.
