Funnily enough, yes, my area is afflicted with the HFC curse and the
service is with Internode. Neighbours affected by the same problem are
with iiNet and TPG -- as I say, separate but related companies. (iiNet
bought Internode around 2012, TPG bought iiNet more recently.)
I'm still treating it as a local street issue (which would make it a
NBN matter) at this point, but it's all a matter of gathering evidence
at this stage.
