I don't really know about internal cards (you want external USB
interfaces anyway), but the USB audio interfaces I own (MOTU,
Focusrite,
TASCAM, Behringer) all work for playback and recording at least
using
the uaudio drivers.

Actually routing audio is something sndio really doesn't expose
well I
think, or at least there is no userland tooling for that like e.g.
pipewire/pulse/jack under Linux has to e.g. pick specific inputs
to
record. Also, I wouldn't use OpenBSD for low-latency audio
recording/tracking, there is not really any realtime/pseudo
realtime
support.

Regular playback works fine though.
