Attached are two ports, desktop-installer and auto-admin (the latter of
which is a RUN_DEPEND of the former)
Here's the pkg/DESCR of each:
$ cat auto-admin/pkg/DESCR
Auto-admin is a set of tools for automating common systems management
tasks from the command line. It is meant as a library of scripts to be
used by more specific automated systems management scripts. It is also
intended to serve as a compatibility layer to ease management of
multiple POSIX platforms.
$ cat desktop-installer/pkg/DESCR
Desktop-installer is a post-install script to assist in setting up
a OpenBSD desktop system using any desktop environment or window
manager available in binary packages. It automatically installs
essential software and configures subsystems such as dbus, etc. for
typical use.
I had previously submitted these ports [1] but didn't get a response.
Since then, I've made some minor reliability improvements upstream [2],
so I'm re-submitting them for review and a request to merge.
My non-technical partner has been using these ports on a -current
system for some time now with good results.
