- less marketing bumf in DESCR
- avoid unnecessary indirection in make vars
- ignore portcheck's stupid warning about pyc
- move devel->cad CATEGORIES (avoid devel if there's a goos alternative)
- add WANTLIB
- drop base-gcc (C++17, and uses cmake which needs newer compilers anyway)
- move SHARED_LIBS to the usual place
I don't see anything in amd64 build logs which suggests it's likely
to impact other ports, ok for this version
