I have no idea that's happening. Just as little as:
1. I run sysupgrade to boot from bsd.rd without serial console hack;
2. Machine is hangs, I realized that I had forgot to put serial console back
and open an issue to ask for KVM;
3. In something like an hour or so KVM is connected and machine sends email
with upgrade log in about a minute when I get KVM creds;
4. Techincan confirmed that he just plug KVM, nothing more.

Yes, something like that. This is test machine and if you have idea about
some debug output patch to confirm something, feel free to send it, and I'll
test.
