You can save a bit of time here.

To install the gtk version of ghostscript straight off, do this before
installing a package which depends on it:

# pkg_add ghostscript--gtk

If it's already installed and you want to switch to the -gtk flavour:

# pkg_add -r -D installed ghostscript--gtk

Or to choose from a menu:

# pkg_add -r -D installed ghostscript
