pkg_add logs

I have been looking for the date I last updated qgis. Thanks to this
old thread,

I could find what I was looking for date using stat(1).

However man pkg_add states that
"pkg_add will syslog(3) installations and updates by default"

I checked my syslog.conf but couldn't find the file where pkg_add logs
by default.

So here is my newbie question : where would I find pkg_add logs ?
