Just wrapping up my ports tree issue, which is now resolved:

I made sure there is no permission issue (in case I did a cvs up as
root or so), and updated the tree. Building and installing works fine
now.
Concerning the calcurse issue, I have to wait (I also informed the port
maintainer).
