yes..if you tried that here you'd end up with meson and gettext-tools as
unwanted RDEPs. the other way round (BUILD_DEPENDS=${RUN_DEPENDS}) is
often safer though it wouldn't work brilliantly here as you'd then have
unneeded (relatively heavy) BDEPs. the separate variable makes it a lot
easier.
