Dear OpenBSD users and maintainers,
as you can probably tell, I've been reading
the hackernews post about airport(7). However
I noticed that the list includes Berlin Tegel
"Otto Lilienthal" (TXL), which has been de-
funct for a few months now. How are closed,
defunct and decommissioned airports dealt with
in this list?
According to the rules, an airport can only be
added by developers who have been to it and
verified its existence, so a reasonable
assumption would be that an airport can also
be removed once its former location has been
visited and the developer has confirmed that it
no longer functions as an airport.
The same problem would also apply to Berlin
Tempelhof (THF), which is also defunct.
If defunct airports are kept in the list, I
wonder if defunct airports can also be added to
the list? Specifically the former Royal Air
Force base Gatow (GWW) comes to mind.
