This can include verbal abuse or threats, as well as physical attacks. Our website has a toolkit to help reduce the risk of work-related violence in licensed or retail premises. The toolkit has links to useful resources and features practical advice on: | The company has been fined £27,000 following the incident. The worker fell 2.5 metres through the gap created by the gantry removal. He fell onto a cherry picker, suffering fractured ribs and internal injuries. HSE's investigation discovered the company had failed to properly plan, co-ordinate and supervise the work, including the removal of the gantry floor.
