It seems I was incorrect in saying that net/knot will automatically pick
it up.

net/knot will use ngtcp2 in case it is present and it was built with
gnutls support (we aren't).

If I explicitly enable the quic setting (--enable-quic) it uses an
embedded version of the library. But I don't have a need for that nor
have I been requested by anyone, so not enabling that right now.

the new versions sent by tb@ of both ports build and test fine (after
cunit dance) for me. curl'd some urls, didn't burn my server down :)
