Ok I figured my mistake, this card has a switch-port chip/adapter which enables the two NICs to be used - a Linux lspci says:

I think ASMedia is correct here, the interesting thing is now - if I

I don't understand why this happens, does this mean that the igc driver
doesn't detect the card on. The RockPro64 PCI-E bus?

Is this a mistake in the driver?

Since the card itself is supported according to igc(4) I guess its a problem on the Rockpro64 board?
I only need a single or dual-port card, any idea what other card I could use?

Or is there a solution?
