Hello,
Its likely due to pf blocking inbound connections to your laptop (which
is a good thing).
Show the output of the following command:
cat /etc/pf.conf
A very basic firewall should block inbound connection sby default, but
allow outbound connections to pass freely. As the server is on the same
device as you are connecting to it from, the packet is simply looping
back (which you shouldn't filter), meanwhile when other devices are
trying to connect, it is coming in through the physical interface.
