Yes, in the case at hand, I must feed a switch with two SFP+ ports, so the clients have as much bandwidth as possible. At times, I must feed a second identical switch, halving the bandwidth. The configuration needs to be "plug and play", to avoid editing /etc/ each time. Perhaps a trunk will fail in this case, because the two lines are managed as one in real time?
