For many serious computations Pari needs extra data packages: https://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/packages.html
Linux distros typically provide there, e.g.
https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/sci-mathematics/pari-data
IMHO OpenBSD should package these, as well.
