In Makefile.template, it has this to say:
# Standard for C++ ports:
#COMPILER = base-clang ports-gcc base-gcc
# Standard for C++11 or newer:
#COMPILER = base-clang ports-gcc
# Ports that require a non-default compiler that do *not* use C++
should set this: #COMPILER_LANGS = c
In the case of this port, I'm using lang/crystal as the compiler,
which is non-default, and I have no C++ here either. I *think* this is
still right.
