What problem are you trying to solve?
That's not a sarcastic question: it is not necessary to use vnconfig
or mount to _use_ the bootable ISO image, at least if you follow the
direction in the INSTALL.amd64 file, so you're doing something
unusual.
Also, you don't actually say *EXACTLY* what you did, or what the
results were, so how can we explain how your third command had the
wrong argument when we don't know what your third command was?
