Yes, these are border routers/firewalls running headless with only / partition. We use these for protection of our internal non-routed IPs.
Actually have been running OpenBSD on Alix boards for many (maybe 15) years using setup Chris Cappuccio outlined - only moving to apu's to go to 1G interfaces.
