Sorry all, seems I replied to the wrong mailling :-(
I tested it on several machines (amd64 and armv7): The patches I
added to the port are now included in the upstream version and
therefore can be removed. The attached version from David seems to
work and gathered exactly the same information as the old one
in my sample.
So this is an OK from me - but David also agreed to update the
maintainer line to point to him. Would you please send a new
patch with that change? I added Stuart to the CC list as he was
the last committer for an hw-probe update.
