it shouldn't need latest GNUstep, should easily work on 7.8 as well.
Thought I never ported anything to a stable branch ;)

i'm not sure i'll take MAINTAINERship since i have absolutely zero
knowledge in obj-c, but since i'm using it at work i'll give the update
a try, does it require the latest gnustep commits, or can be easily
backported to 7.8 ?
I had also seen the planned full rewrite to python/flask, which means
the obj-c version will soon get in maintainance only mode. oh well..
