There's an issue with ftp in some snapshots. Simplest fix is probably to
download a new bsd.rd and boot onto that. ftp(1) may work after a few
attempts, or if you have curl or wget installed that may be simpler.
If you don't have easy console access for booting bsd.rd, you could
maybe rsync files from the mirror to /home/_sysupgrade and then run
sysupgrade again.
