vmm(4): No functional network with Alpine Linux 3.23 (6.18.18-0-virt)

Hi!

I noticed a regression in an VM since I updated to above mentioned
kernel, provided by Alpine Linux 3.23:

vm:~$ uname -a
Linux sniff 6.18.18-0-virt #1-Alpine SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC 2026-03-17 13:19:01 x86_64 Linux

I can confirm this is regression, since Alpine Linux 3.22 works without
a problem; if needed, I can provide a detailed bug report/test patches
