scim input method not show up

Hi, i hope i'm writing in the right list.
After installing the 6.9 the scim input method package is not show up and i can't find a reason.
There is nothing different in the configuration and in the past always work like a charm.
the .xsession file is following the pkg-readmes instruction.
Any suggestions is very appreciated.
