Having a clear picture of what are you trying to do and why helps. Why
.kshrc? Why .profile? What do you want those files to do, and to what?
Then (assuming you are using the default, ksh), see
man ksh
# also within that manpage, type /\.profile
# press ENTER and then n for next match
man -O tag=FILES xenodm
